ieso announced as an HSJ Partnership Awards 2022 finalist

Earlier this year, we were delighted to announce that our joint submission in partnership with Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust was shortlisted for Best Mental Health Partnership with the NHS at the HSJ Partnership Awards 2022, recognising our outstanding contribution to healthcare - in what has been an exceptional and challenging period across the sector.

On the evening of the 24 March, we attended the HSJ Partnership Awards ceremony where we celebrated our recognition as a finalist in the highly coveted award category, ‘Best Mental Health Partnership with the NHS’.

Our collaboration between ieso and Dorset HealthCare (DHC) yielded compelling insights that have led not only to more efficient ways of providing care but ground-breaking advances in our fundamental understanding of depression itself.

ieso’s analysis of DHC’s outcome-linked data identified areas for improvement, including better deployment of resources to improve cost effectiveness and clinical outcomes.

The team then collaborated with York Health Economics Consortium to demonstrate a net monetary benefit of around £400 per patient. A saving that would translate to more than £100M per year if implemented across all UK IAPT services.

Our submission ‘Improving Mental Health Provision Through Data Insights’ was a collaborative effort. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our special thanks to Ana Catarino, Stephen Freer, Laura Carlin, Kate Woolland, Jenni Lyall, Michael Ewbank, Graham Warren, Daniella Quinn, Stephanie Brown, Ronan Cummins, and Justin Washtell-Blaise from ieso and Morad Margoum, Clare Hurley, Joel Hooper, and Kelly Colbeck from Dorset HealthCare for their dedicated work on this project, which led to ieso being recognised as finalists in the highly prestigious ‘Best Mental Health Partnership’ category.

We would like to extend our congratulations to all winners, highly commended and finalists for their outstanding work towards the NHS sector, to better the lives of patients.
