Clare joins us from Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust, where she was Head of Psychological Services for four years.
She led on the expansion of their Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services, and a range of secondary care teams, and developed a strong reputation for innovation, high-quality care, digital, and collaboration. In the past year, she led on redesigning Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) services in Dorset, with coproduction, lived experience, and new models of care central to this.
A clinician by background, Clare is a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist as well as a qualified social worker. With 20 years of clinical experience in a range of mental health settings, she brings a breadth of clinical insights. Clare’s experience of senior leadership within the NHS and managing large portfolios of services will further enhance both the strategic and quality-focused development of our Care business.
At ieso, Clare will be part of the senior leadership team. She will oversee clinical delivery, working closely with the clinical team to ensure we achieve the best possible patient outcomes and provide the best possible experiences for patients and clinicians. She will help raise our profile with NHS stakeholders and policymakers, further developing our strategic partnerships, showing the value and credibility that ieso can add during NHS and government conversations around the future of digital health.
On her decision to join ieso, Clare said:
“It’s a great opportunity for a new challenge. I’m really excited by what ieso are doing in terms of digital therapeutics, and how the company is expanding. I’ve admired ieso from the side-lines for several years and am impressed by the quality of care and level of agility. The research and innovation taking place here also has massive appeal to me and fits fantastically with my research background, I’m delighted to be here!”
Welcoming his colleague, Interim Managing Director Chris Kightley said:
“Clare is a fantastic addition to the ieso team - her clinical background brings fresh insight and expertise, having been a senior leader in the NHS managing transformational change within a range of psychological services. This knowledge and experience will support ieso in delivering its clinical excellence. She is an advocate of adopting innovative research which complements the ieso mission. Welcome, Clare.”
Clare brings a solid background in research, having a Masters degree in Social Research Methods from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
